Using the calculators

The calculators are free for personal, classroom and tutoring use. Do not scrape the site, resell the content or copy its code.

Learning aid, not an exam tool

Math Lantern explains how to solve problems. Do not use it where a teacher, exam board or employer forbids calculators or outside help; following those rules is your responsibility.

Accuracy

We check the calculators carefully, but errors and rounding differences are possible, and large numbers can exceed what a browser can represent exactly. Verify results that matter.

Liability

The site is free and provided as is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow from relying on a result. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Names of tests, publishers and organizations belong to their owners; Math Lantern is not affiliated with them. We are not responsible for the content of linked sites.

Yes. Projecting the calculators or printing a worked example for students is fine.
